+d Koneko Cup – Cat-Shaped Food, Sand & Snow Mould

One little cup. An endless supply of cats.

The +d Koneko Cup is a compact Japanese mould that turns rice, jelly, pudding, sorbet, sand, soil or snow into a neat sitting-kitten silhouette. It is quick to understand, genuinely reusable and equally at home in the kitchen, at the beach or displayed as a tiny design object.

How to use it

1. Fill the cup firmly, making sure the material reaches the tips of the ears.
2. Place it open-side down on a plate or flat surface.
3. Lift the cup away to reveal the cat shape.

For set jelly or pudding, run a cocktail stick around the rim or gently press the edge with the curve of a spoon before turning it out. The 200 ml capacity holds roughly one generous serving of rice.

Four Japanese-made finishes

• Clear: lightweight polymethylpentene. The transparent wall makes it easy to check the ears are filled and position fruit or coloured layers. Microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
• Bio Beige, Bio Black and Bio White: polypropylene blended with bamboo powder; at least half of the material is derived from organic matter. Dishwasher and freezer safe. Natural-material content may create slight colour variation.
